BREAKING — Elisa Alvarez announced she will plead guilty to murder in the shooting death of Mirosalva Martinez and asked to be sentenced by a jury.
Court will return to session at 1 p.m., when a jury is selected and will go into punishment phase, probably Wednesday morning. Alvarez is expected to plead guilty Wednesday morning and the court will then go into the sentencing phase.
