MyS Counseling has expanded its footprint once again, opening its eighth Texas location in Del Rio.
Technically, they opened their seventh location in Del Rio at 106 Bauer Ave. Aug. 19, and a day later opened an Eagle Pass clinic for an eighth location.
The mental health provider, which got its start in the Houston area, has grown steadily across Texas in recent years.
“We saw a need, and from what we’ve heard, there are resources here, but not enough,” said Danielle Aleman, managing partner. “We want to see people in days, not weeks. We will accept you for who you are, we won’t judge you.”
The facility offers therapy for children, adults and families, as well as specialized programs for trauma, anxiety and depression. Licensed counselors are already accepting appointments, and walk-in assessments are available.
MyS Counseling operates with a focus on bilingual care, making it a fit for Del Rio’s diverse population, Aleman said.
With the Del Rio and Eagle Pass openings, the Houston-based company has seven existing locations across South Texas in Manvel, Lake Jackson, Missouri City, Katy, Deer Park, Dickinson, Del Rio and Eagle Pass.
