Del Rio’s First Command Financial Services office held their grand opening Tuesday Sept. 9th at 2116 Veterans Blvd.
While two of the company’s newest advisors, Scott Mann and

Annie Vo, assigned to the Del Rio office, were recognized for launching their careers.
The two received their first pins from Chip Payne, First Command’s founder’s son, as part of the ceremony.
“The pins meant that they’ve had a certain number of interactions with clients and have proven themselves to be exceptional,” Dave Bonney, First Command district advisor said. “It’s a momentous occasion and I still remember when I received my first pin. It means I’ve arrived, I’ve been through my training, been through the Academy and I’ve met with a certain number of clients.”

Bonney said they held off on officially opening the office until they had everything lined up.
“We finally have everything in place, we have signage, our clients are aware of our storefront presence and now we are ready to open our doors to the rest of the community,” Bonney said.
“We serve the military members by providing a detailed analysis and help them develop a comprehensive financial plan that includes their military benefits, to include their Thrift Saving Plan,” said Bonney. “At no cost or obligation to the military member.
The Del Rio Chamber of Commerce red carpet committee helped them roll out the red carpet for the fast-growing company.
“We’ve had steady growth in Del Rio for a number of years and we’re looking forward to growing our presence there even more,” Bonney said.
