Question #1: What are your qualifications to serve in the office you are seeking?
I have been proudly serving as the Val Verde County Treasurer since 2015 and bring proven knowledge of local government operations, state and federal law and public funds investment. I am committed to responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, ensuring county bills are paid accurately and on time, and that county funds are protected and invested wisely.
Question #2: What is your vision for this office for the next four years?
Being dedicated to integrity, accountability and fiscal responsibility. The most meaningful part of my role as County Treasurer is the opportunity to continue building strong partnerships with our current local leaders and strengthen the county’s financial foundation. Being the County Treasurer means more than managing funds and investments, it’s about earning and maintaining trust through transparency, accuracy and community service. My approach to the office reflects a commitment to leadership, collaboration, trust and elevating the public’s understanding of the County Treasurer’s vital role in county government.
