Question #1: What are your qualifications to serve in the office you are seeking?

I offer 30 years of federal public service experience collaborating with local, state and federal agencies, building bipartisan coalitions and working effectively in complex, high-stress environments. Guided by strong ethical principles, I am known for integrity, impartiality, sound judgment and effective leadership. I have overseen personnel, programs and budgets for the United States Border Patrol, including the Emergency Management Program. Through attentive listening and clear, transparent communication, I make balanced decisions that serve all people.

Question #2: What is your vision for this office for the next four years?

My vision for the office of County Commissioner of Precinct 2 is an office where transparency and accountability guide every decision, ensuring every resident’s voice is heard and resources are used wisely to build a stronger, thriving community. Taxpayer resources will be managed wisely, with clarity and fairness at every step. I envision responsible growth supported by thoughtful planning and long-term investment in infrastructure like roads, utilities and public facilities. Our office will operate with integrity, respect and dedication, setting a standard for leadership across the county. Together, we will build a thriving community that attracts businesses and enhances the quality of life for all who call Val Verde County home.
