Question #1: What are your qualifications to serve in the office you are seeking?
My experience includes over 24 years of management and leadership roles in the restaurant and retail industries. I’ve had extensive training in adhering to local, state and federal regulations. As a former District Manager and Multi Unit manager, l am well versed in problem solving, personnel conflict resolution, disciplinary measures and customer service. In my time as a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Regulatory Compliance Officer, I enforced state laws to ensure public safety.
Question #2: What is your vision for this office for the next four years?
My intent is to serve the people of Val Verde County with Common Sense and Common Courtesy. Among my top priorities will be to create positive turning points in every interaction in order to restore trust of public servants and authority. As an extension to the responsibilities of the office, I look forward to giving counsel and share what I’ve learned from my life experiences with the youth and families facing difficult times. I am prepared to be accessible, approachable and available for the community at large. Ultimately, I want to play a part in ensuring overall safety by holding people accountable, providing a deterrent for repeat offenses and partnering with other entities to make available the treatment and care citizens deserve.
