Two Del Rio businessmen and bar owners are moving towards opening Del Rio’s first food truck park.
Hector Rodriguez and Enrique Perez, co-owners of Gorzugi’s Bar, has hosted some of Del Rio’s biggest outdoor events at 2101 Dodson and are now venturing into the food truck arena. They are shooting for a late summer, early fall opening.
“There are some great food trucks in Del Rio but they are all over town,” said Rodriguez. “We want to get several great ones located in the same place.”
In addition to having a full bar located next to the trucks, the Gorzugi’s Food Truck Park will also offer a unique service. “We are going to deliver,” Rodriguez said. “So, if you want something from one of our trucks, you can go online, order and we will deliver to your door.”
