Beckmann cracks Texas Top 40

Del Rio’s William Beckmann’s single “Someday” just jumped 10 spots in the past week to land in the Texas Regional Radio Report’s Top 40 at #39.
It’s his second single in that spot. “I Want to See You Tonight” peaked there after 10 weeks on the TRRR charts in 2018. “Someday” hit the spot in 6 weeks.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen,” Beckman said. “I just hope it keeps climbing up.”
Before moving to Nashville, Beckmann went to college in Austin, where he always listened to alternative country station KOKE FM. “I used to listen to that station and used to dream about having a song on there,” he said.
He can now check that off of his bucket list. “I’m being interviewed by them and my song is playing on there regular.”
Not only is his songs being digitally dropped and tracked by Country Music charts, but his touring schedule is picking up as well. He’s working with a who’s who in Texas Country music.
He’s playing with Kevin Fowler Sept. 24 at Threadgill’s Last Call in Austin, Tx.; Jon Stork at the Backyard Bar Stage and Grill Sept. 26; Django Walker at

Willie’s Joint Sept. 30 and then he has a series of five shows with Randy Rogers in October and November.
